A 28-year-old man has been arrested in Delhi for allegedly stabbing two men with scissors over a monetary dispute, resulting in one death and one severe injury.
A 26-year-old man was stabbed to death in northeast Delhi's Seemapuri area following a quarrel over a monetary dispute. Police have arrested the accused and launched an investigation.
The deceased has been identified as Naveen Kumar, who was wanted in multiple cases, including for murder and under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA), a senior police officer said.
Asif allegedly knew the victim, Komal (22), for around 12 years, they said.
'Just keep telling people that we have fixed the Muslims, and they will not be bothered about their empty stomachs or empty wallets.'
As per the election affidavit of Dr Harsh Vardhan of the Bharatiya Janata Party, which is listed on the Election Commission of India website, a first information report (number 519/2013, in Madhu Vihar police station) has been filed against him under Sections 34, 323, 509 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
